Molecular Oncology (Gastrointestinal Oncology)

The lab of Thomas Brabletz focuses on malignant progression of gastrointestinal cancers, in particular molecular mechanisms of invasion and metastasis. The aim is to integrate basic cancer research and relevant clinical questions. Thereby the lab uses molecular and genetic in vitro approaches, cell and animal models, as well as human tumor material and patients' data.
