How to apply for CCI Incubator fellowships

Application

A research project is planned with a CCI group leader. Applications must be made in English and must include the following: Please contact the coordinator of education for the application form.

  • CV with publications
  • Motivation letter detailing why you want to carry out a research project and how it fits in with your career plans.
  • Two letters of recommendation, including one from the host group leader (please use the CCI referee form below)
  • A short (max 1500 words) research proposal that ties in with the research carried out the CCI host group.

CCI Incubator Referee Form

Evaluation

Type I applications are evaluated by the CCI Education and Research Committee and successful applications are forwarded to the Advisory Board for final approval.

Type II applications are evaluated by the CCI Education and Research Committee and short-listed candidates are interviewed by members of the CCI Executive Board within 6 weeks of receiving the application. Successful candidates are then invited to submit an extended research proposal (max 15 pages). This proposal is written under the mentorship of the host group leader. It is evaluated by the CCI Education and Research Committee and successful candidates present their research proposal to the Advisory Board for final approval.
