The research group Immunobiology is interested in understanding the transcriptional regulation of T cell differentiation pathways during an immune response. Therefore we study the roles of a class of transcriptional regulators called the Id proteins as well as their targeted transcription factors, called E proteins during T cell differentiation processes in the mouse model. The integration of the research group within the CCI enables us to think beyond the model systems and transfer the obtained results into the clinic.xxx
