On behalf of all staff members of the University Medical Center Freiburg, I welcome you to our hospital.
There are joyous occasions when people come to us, such as the birth of a child. Most of our patients, however, come because they are troubled by a health related problem. All our staff members will do their best to ensure your fast recovery.
People who feel comfortable and are well-looked after have the tendency to recover more quickly. Your health is our mission and your well-being is our main interest. In addition to the best possible medical treatments which is based on the latest findings in modern medicine, it is also our goal to ensure that you feel well-cared for by our staff.
Your stay in the Medical Center is different from your normal everyday life. During the first days of your stay, you may need to adjust to a new environment and situation. Our Patient’s Guide is at your disposal to help you to get acquainted with our facilities and services.
We have organized the Patient’s Guide by topics and alphabetically and hope that you will find answers to many of your queries. Naturally, the Patient’s Guide is not a substitute for personal dialogue. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything that is not clear to you or if you have special requests.
