Research

We are engaged in research in the following areas:


  • Meditation and health
  • Mindfulness and mindfulness meditation
  • Complementary and alternative medical (CAM) therapies, e.g. acupuncture,
    homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Tibetan medicine
  • Yoga
  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction, MBSR, according to Jon Kabat-Zinn
  • Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for depression treatment, MBCT

Furthermore, we process and evaluate scientific knowledge on these topics for communication to a wider public. We are committed to integration of meditation-based and complementary medical processes into the public health system.
