Dr. Frank Butz, DDS, Dr Med Dent
Dr Frank Butz received his dental degree in 1996 and his DrMedDent degree in 1998 from the University of Freiburg in Germany. From 1996 to 2000, he received Graduate Training in the Department of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Freiburg, and was appointed to the faculty in the year 2000. Dr. Butz is a Board Certified Prosthodontist (German Society of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials, DGPro). He served as a visiting Assistant Professor from 2002 to 2004 in the Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology, Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, Biomaterials, and Hospital Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, California, USA. In 2004, Dr. Butz was the recipient of an Osseointegration Foundation Research Grant Award, and the 2005 Arthur R. Frechette Research Award. Dr. Butz is married and has two children.
