Research Interests:

  • Modulators of human stretch-activated channels
  • Mechano-induced fibrosis in atrial fibrillation
  • RNA-sequencing data analysis

Brief CV:

Elisa studied medicine at the University of Luxembourg and Strasbourg (2015-2018). In November 2018, she joined the Cell Biophysics group at the IEKM in the context of her MD-PhD track. She focused on the influence of the bacterial lectin LecA on human stretch-activated channels. In September 2019, she received her binational Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Freiburg and Strasbourg.
