Dear Colleagues,

following the annual tradition of assembling outstanding experts at Freiburg University to let them share their insights on advances in multiple myeloma (MM), we are very happy to welcome you all to the 13th MM Meeting 2022. Over the last years, remarkable advances in the field have steadily improved the outcome of patients suffering from plasma cell dyscrasias. Myeloma physicians, both in the clinic and outpatient office, face challenges as the options available add up to a whole variety of valuable treatment strategies (including novel agents, immunotherapies and stem cell transplantations).
