The dual study program in Business Administration-Healthcare Management lasts three years (6 semesters) and leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree.

The practice-oriented course initially comprises introductory lectures in business administration, such as finance and accounting, controlling, human resources and corporate management. Courses in health economics, social and insurance systems and the basics of social insurance law include the fields of economics and law. Scientific basics such as medicine for non-medical professionals, human biology and pharmacology are also taught.

Specializations are offered in the areas of (international) management, marketing and sales, product management, business and marketing plans, project management, key account management, leadership, negotiation, ethics and social responsibility, hospital administration, process optimization and financing.

There are additional courses for prospective specialists in areas such as business English, professional presentation and negotiation or chairing meetings.

During the practical phases of your training, you will spend time in various departments of the hospital administration. This will give you a comprehensive insight into a wide range of specialist disciplines, such as controlling and finance, administrative departments, corporate communications, medical controlling, cooperation and personnel management.
