Our 78-year-old mother was treated at the university hospital after falling off her bicycle. For us as a family, this was a time full of worry, uncertainty and fear. That is precisely why nurse Marie Müller was a real ray of hope and a great source of support.
Ms. Müller cared for our mother with great calmness and compassion. She was always encouraging and respectful, both towards us as concerned relatives and towards her patient, our mother. She listened to our worries and fears. She responded to our questions with great empathy, restoring our confidence and sense of security.
We noticed that Ms Müller did not only take care of our mother's medical and nursing needs. She demonstrated exceptional expertise and, for example, quickly organised an adjustment to the pain therapy in consultation with the medical team when it was needed.
