Interested in how food affects our health? Dieticians are nutrition professionals and know all about food and its effect on the body.

During their training, they learn which ingredients can be used to lower blood sugar and high blood pressure. How people with gastrointestinal diseases or metabolic disorders are supported in adapting their diet to their individual needs. Following a doctor's prescription, dieticians develop nutrition plans and therapy concepts independently and on their own responsibility, which they implement together with their patients. They calculate nutritional values and put together tasty and varied meals, order food, calculate costs and monitor preparation.

The theoretical training takes place at the University Hospital in Ulm. Rental and travel costs are covered.
