A specialist in the kitchen has an important job: helping to prepare delicious food! This means following recipes, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene and making sure that all the necessary ingredients are available. Less theory and numbers? In the apprenticeship to become a kitchen specialist, the focus is on practice. This is where professional cooking is learned from scratch.
Training as a kitchen specialist takes two years. After successful completion, the training company and trainee can agree to extend the training by one year and obtain a qualification as a chef.
