Our department specialises in diagnosis, treatment and research of diseases of the immune system, especially autoimmune diseases, inflammatory rheumatic diseases, and drug-induced defects of the immune system.  These diseases are also called autoimmune disorders where the immune system reacts against the body’s own structures, setting off chronic inflammation reactions such as redness, swelling and pain in the affected region. Examples are rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis and systemic lupus erythematosus. 

Our specialists have the most modern facilities available for the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the immune system. We provide both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, as well as recommendations for preventative measures for a wide range of immunological conditions.
