Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is partially compatible with Section 10 (1) L-BGG. The University Medical Center Freiburg has already achieved some improvements and continues to work on accessibility.
Accessibility of the website
When designing the pages of the University Medical Center Freiburg, particular emphasis was placed on clearly structured information, a high-contrast presentation of the texts as well as the navigation and operating elements. The semantics of the HTML are based on a strict separation of content, structure and design. Headings are chosen so that they are also meaningful for the structure.
- Adjusting font sizes

Video and audio files that are integrated on our website are currently only partially provided with subtitles, audio description or transcriptions. We endeavor to add subtitles to newly uploaded videos as soon as possible after publication.
- Graphics or images contained in the pages have not yet been fully supplemented with text descriptions.
- In some cases, navigation is not possible without a mouse.
- In the case of links, the destination or purpose of the link is not always clear from the link text.
- Explanations in German sign language are not yet fully available on the website.
- Explanations in easy-to-read language are not yet fully available on the website.
- PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents that are offered for download on the website are currently not all available in accessible versions. We endeavor to create or replace newly uploaded PDF files with an accessible version.
- The program code of the website (so-called source code) is not yet completely error-free.
