* December 8, 1872 in Wollmartingen, Constance; † January 11, 1961 in Überlingen; German sculptor
Stadelhofer was a student at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Frankfurt from 1891 to 1894. He then studied at the Landeskunstschule in Karlsruhe. A Baden state scholarship in 1902 enabled him to spend time in Rome, where he was president of the German Artists' Association from 1906 to 1908. Stadelhofer settled in Munich in 1910 and moved to Freiburg at the end of 1912. In the 1920s, Stadelhofer created a series of war memorials in southern Baden, including the memorial to the fallen in Emmendingen and the memorial in Schönau. In addition to his artistic activities, Stadelhofer was also active as chairman of the Upper Rhine district group of the Reich Association of Visual Artists.
