  • Bust
    Sculptural representation of a person in half-length or up to the shoulder.

  • Frieze
    Narrow architectural strip that serves to enclose, delimit, divide and decorate parts of a building.

  • Installation
    Spatial, site-specific and often also location- or situation-related three-dimensional work of art.

  • Painting
    Application of paint to a surface using brushes, palette knives or other objects.

  • Object / object art
    Work of art made from one or more found objects - sometimes also processed or alienated. The origins of this form of expression lie in the collages of Cubism and Dadaism.

  • Sculpture
    A three-dimensional work of art (clay, plaster, porcelain, wax, plasticine, cast materials such as bronze, silver, gold, brass, copper, plastic, gypsum, concrete, floating works) modeled, formed, cast from a pictorial mass using an additive process (addition of material).

    Painting, photograph, sculpture or other artistic representation of one or more people.

    Representation that stands out plastically from the background (sunken relief, bas-relief, half-relief, high relief). Stands between painting and sculpture. A medallion is a relief in a round or elliptical frame.
