"Just imagine this: A dentist, an architect and a pair of artists chew ten individual pieces of chewing gum to create a motif. The two most beautiful specimens are selected. They are scanned in three-dimensionally using the latest technology from the dental clinic. Two sculptures, 150 times larger than the originals, are created from Carrara marble in an elaborate process using a CNC milling machine. The two works of art will be presented on a publicly accessible green space in the University Hospital, right next to the Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Clinic - real art you can touch!"
