Wir überwinden Grenzen

Every year, several thousand people in Germany are diagnosed with leukemia or other malignant diseases of the hematopoietic system. A prerequisite for successful treatment with blood stem cells or a bone marrow transplant is the availability of a suitable donor. However, such a donor can only be found if as many people as possible are typed and stored in a stem cell file.

An initial typing costs 50 euros and is unfortunately not paid for by the cost bearers. The laboratory costs have to be covered by the Freiburg Stem Cell Registry. We need donations for this. Many young people want to become donors and understandably cannot finance their own initial typing. Please help us so that we can add as many people as possible to our database as lifesavers.
