We have 143 full-day childcare places in various facilities for the children of our employees. The offer is aimed at children from the age of 3 until they start school.
Opening hours: 6:30 to 17:30
Childcare costs: The parental contribution is 300 euros per month including meals.
Please note: The statutory measles vaccination requirement will also apply here from 01.03.2020.

Opening hours: generally 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Childcare costs: costs vary from facility to facility and depend on opening hours and closing days.
The Junikäfer-Kita "Sonnenstrahlen" is open all year round and has no closing days.
The Sem;kolon Kita "Farbenfroh" has reduced vacation closing times (17 days).
In principle, our 40 places are not restricted to any particular facility of the Junikäferverbund. The choice of facility/group is always made between the parents and the provider.

The Bimmelbahn daycare center is a daycare center of the DRK KV Freiburg. The University Medical Center has 3 places in the U3 area and 3 places in the Ü3 area.
Opening hours: 7:15 to 16:30
Childcare costs: Parental contributions are staggered depending on the group (infant or mixed age) and the number of children, including meals.

Note: Registration takes place directly via the central reservation system of the town of Bad Krozingen. UKF employees will be given priority in the allocation process.

Allocation of places
Childcare places are allocated annually in February for the following kindergarten year. Places are allocated on the basis of a points system using the following criteria
- Both parents employed at the clinic
- Sibling already at the facility
- Single parents (proof by means of a negative certificate from the youth welfare office or custody certificate)
- Persons with private care obligations or similar.
