CNS Myeloid Cell Immunology
PD Dr. D. ErnyOur aim is to understand how environmental factors such as the intestinal microbiota affects microglia and other CNS macrophages under steady state and disease conditions. In addition, we are interested in characterizing microglia across species and understanding how species-specific factors shape microglia in the CNS.
