Dr. Hans-Peter Bestehorn welcomed the guests and the artists with the surprising words that the artists' objects were more likely to be found in the cellar than in the living room. With this, he hit the nail on the head of Faller and Budasz's artistic ambitions: "non-profit art".
According to the artists, it is not about selling professionally, but about concentrating on the object. The latter is what characterizes the professional artist and not the desire for decorative and sales-friendly art.

The trio Katherine Spencer/ flute, Sophie Gilbert/ clarinet and Kathrin Mayer/ bassoon played pieces by Mozart and Albeniz.

Everyday materials are taken out of their everyday environment, artistically processed and thus incorporated into an aesthetic field of tension that arises between the viewer and the objects. The color treatment makes the wood or cardboard structure appear as a filigree ornament.
The discovery of the artificial in the chipboard or cardboard prepares the artistic treatment. The application of paint, hatching or lines do not play over the material, but rather cooperate with it. This is probably the real artistic challenge.
