On Sunday, March 19, 2017, the exhibition by Günther Holder will open at 11 a.m. at the University Heart Center Freiburg ∙ Bad Krozingen (Südring 15, Bad Krozingen, attic floor). The wall sculptures "from time to time" are on display. Prof. Nikolaus Bischoff from the University of Art, Design and Popular Music (hKDM) Freiburg will give an introduction.
Günther Holder's wall sculptures "from time to time" move in the border area between sculpture and painting. Many layers of paint are applied to the wooden bodies like a reflective skin. Edges and cut edges remain untreated and reveal the structure of the material. Using reduced means, Günther Holder develops an exciting interplay between volume and surface: a hybrid model of reality, detail and illusion.
The exhibition can be viewed from Monday, March 20, 2017, to Friday, April 28, 2017, on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm at the University Heart Center, Bad Krozingen site (attic floor).
