Mary Horstschulze's exhibition will open at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at the University Heart Center Freiburg ∙ Bad Krozingen (Südring 15, Bad Krozingen, attic floor). On display are collages that combine a wide variety of materials in an exciting way. The artist Gabriela Morschett will give an introduction.
Mary Horstschulze uses her studio in Müllheim in two ways: on the one hand, she creates her collages from found objects, discarded items and washed up parts, which bring the aesthetic qualities of the previously overlooked into the focus of the viewer and give the objects new meaning in dialog with each other. She also restores documents, engravings and historical pictures there.
The exhibition can be viewed from Monday, April 16, 2018, to Friday, May 18, 2018, on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm at the University Heart Center in Bad Krozingen (attic floor). Further objects by Mary Horstschulze can be seen in the display cases in the entrance hall.
