They assert themselves as surface images, as striking pictorial symbols that delimit the space and even assign it aesthetic boundaries. Images and combinations of images draw attention to the architecture, which in turn absorbs the artistic signals and transforms itself into a sublime experiential space.

Vita

  • Born in Freiburg in 1967.
  • studied painting at the State Academy of Arts in Karlsruhe under Professor Max Kaminski.
  • took up studies in art history and media theory with Professor Hans Belting in 1996.
  • Awarded numerous prizes
  • also received scholarships, including the Erasmus Scholarship from the University of Lisbon in 1993.
