Jürg Müller

Smaller works can be seen in the display cases in the entrance hall.

Directly in front of the two large-format drawings by Heinrich Mutter is one of the sculptures made of pear wood. This placement impressively demonstrates the "dialog capability" of his works.

Jürg Müller, who is Swiss and now lives in Baselland, works the block of wood intuitively. Sketches fix the imagined object, but new structures and forms emerge as he works on the sculpture. An artistic momentum develops that conveys power and tension. The artist chooses mainly pear wood, ebony and MDF as materials.
