The artist duo Wolfgang Winter and Berthold Hörbelt were commissioned to create a spatial sculpture.
Based on test tubes and the principle and function of the Galileo thermometer, five glass tubes with a height of three storeys were set up linearly in one of the three energy gardens. The glass cylinders filled with liquid each contain 25 coloured glass spheres with attached metal "smilies", which slowly rise or fall depending on the temperature and are thus intended to visualize the thermal processes in the energy garden.
