Free WLAN for patients and visitors
Since April, the guest WLAN can be used
Visitors, patients and external persons can use the guest WLAN via a generally valid pre-shared key (PSK), which is exchanged at irregular intervals.
This new guest WLAN is intended to enable the digital onboarding process of patients* inside buildings with poor cellular reception. The bandwidth of the access is limited.
Access details for the guest WLAN will be available on notice boards in the hospital buildings:
SSID/WLAN name: ukfgast
PSK/password: UKFreiburgWLAN
Via smartphone, a QR code can alternatively be scanned to set up the WLAN.
