The "Patients" division supports departments, clinics and institutes with their administrative tasks and at the same time focuses on patients.

Central billing, patient services and document management are located in Division 2.

With more than 200 employees, the division makes a direct and indirect contribution to patient care - as a reliable point of contact for patients: through information in the hospitals, outpatient and inpatient registration or, following treatment, through inquiries about patient documents.

The local teams are also the link between departments, clinics and institutes and the central administration. The division is also responsible for the billing implementation of budget and care rate agreements, the university outpatient clinic agreement and other contracts, as well as legal obligations.
