Our team consists of 12 doctors, 49 full-time and part-time nursing staff, two MFAs who support the nursing staff in the admission room, three secretaries and five assistants.

With a total of six practice instructors, we have a strong team that focuses on induction, training and further education.

This focus is also specifically supported in the management structure: The division into nursing management and nursing expertise/nursing education meets the respective high requirements and enables continuous further development.

The further development of our own skills is important to us. That's why we offer internal training in intensive care, among other things.

The aim of our 12-month qualification program is to give you confidence when starting work in the intensive care unit. We would like to qualify you for your work in intensive care, avoid excessive demands and make it easier for you to settle into the working world of intensive care units.

During the practical assignments, the participants are accompanied and supported by experienced qualified staff, practical instructors and the head of the qualification program.

The practical assignments are accompanied by a theoretical qualification. The content includes clinical and equipment monitoring as well as the basics of infusion and medication therapy. The topic of ventilation is covered in greater depth in special "ventilation days".

In addition, regular coaching by the supervision service is integrated into the program. The appointments are mandatory and are taken into account by the responsible managers when planning duties. Participants are released from their duties on the ward for this purpose.

Target group: The program is aimed at all new employees who start in the intensive care unit and consciously decide to work on a ward.
