Our specialized teams in the intensive care units are characterized in particular by their trusting cooperation. Whether you are an experienced expert or a qualified career starter, everyone is welcome here. As we attach great importance to training and specialization, we offer all specialist nursing training courses internally.

Our work is very demanding and requires a high degree of independence and commitment from all employees. Patients often have to be cared for in life-threatening and complex medical situations.

Our intermediate care units (IMC) were introduced as a link between the normal wards and intensive care units. The range of services on these wards is very comprehensive.

Our interdisciplinary University Emergency Center (UNZ) is the first point of contact for patients with acute, sometimes life-threatening complaints - around the clock, 365 days a year. Around 50,000 patients a year are treated at our center, including over 2,000 seriously injured or critically ill patients.

Nursing in our operating theater is as diverse as nursing itself. For example, our nursing team is made up of surgical and anesthesia assistants and nursing staff for the surgical service. Take a look for yourself at the wide range of opportunities we offer.

Around 2,000 children are born in our gynecology clinic every year. Our delivery room consists of several birthing rooms, which guarantee privacy and intimacy and are also equipped with modern emergency equipment. The obstetricians, paediatricians and anaesthetists are on hand around the clock in the event of complications and work hand in hand with the midwives.
