With over 50 anaesthesia workstations and 10 recovery rooms, we work hand in hand with the medical service to care for patients of all ages and specialties. Whether it's a routine procedure or emergency care, we are ready at over 9 locations on the Freiburg Campus!
Since 2015, we have been successfully training anesthesia technicians who are part of our international team.
We also offer a wide range of further education and training opportunities.

COBdA- Our entry and trainee program for anesthesia care
Our 6-month entry and trainee program aims to qualify nursing staff in practice and theory for anaesthesia care and to facilitate their induction into the profession.
The practical assignments comprise 18 weeks and the theory/practice transfer modules 5 weeks. COBdA is made up of various theory and practical modules, depending on whether you are a newcomer to the profession or already have experience. The program includes training in simulation surgery, ventilation days and resuscitation training (see diagram opposite).
During the 6-month program, you will work in tandem with an experienced colleague and receive professional coaching from our practical instructors.
