March 16 to April 25, 2008: On the musicality of vibrating forms
The series of pictures shows the series Alphabet from 2007 (graphite, oil, canvas, each 50x40 cm).

At the opening on Sunday, March 16, curator Beate Hill-Kalusche will explain the artist's career and the artistic possibilities that have led to new pictorial forms in recent years.

The free figuration conveys a musical atmosphere. You feel as if you can follow the swinging of the forms. The filigree contours enclose and exclude, creating intertwined worlds of forms. The overlapping and juxtaposition creates an astonishing spatiality that makes a decisive contribution to the development of the dynamics.
