Second Opinion
It’s a good idea to get a second opinion, particularly in the case of cancer and/or doubts about the proposed treatment.
You are welcome to seek a second opinion at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg – CCCF, which is supported by German Cancer Aid as a top oncology center (in German). In addition, we regularly receive certification from the German Cancer Society as an oncology center (in German), as do most of our organ cancer centers.
The prerequisite for a second opinion is a prior recommendation for treatment by a physician. Most health insurance companies cover the cost in the case of a cancer diagnosis.
