Mission Statement

The Cardio-Vascular Research Center (CVRC) Freiburg brings together the research groups engaged in cardiovascular research at the University Heart Center Freiburg · Bad Krozingen (UHZ), University Hospital Freiburg (UKF), the Medical Faculty, and possibly other institutes of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and the region. The aim is to promote progress, effectiveness, and visibility in cardiovascular research and postgraduate training, and to stimulate bidirectional translation between 'bench and bedside.'
