Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF

Center for Neuro-Oncology

Dear patient!

To ensure that our patients with brain tumors receive optimal treatment, we at the Department of Neurosurgery collaborate closely with other specialist disciplines, such as the Department of Radiation Oncology and Hematology/Oncology. In addition to operative methods – including novel microsurgical methods – we offer chemotherapy and participation in clinical trials. We discuss the best possible therapy with our colleagues from other specialist disciplines at an interdisciplinary brain tumor conference and with you. Find out more

Events

At the University Medical Center Freiburg, events for patients are held on a regular basis to provide information on the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Current events and interesting past events on the topic of brain tumors can be found here.

Self-help Groups

Self-help groups of people with the same disease offer a self-determined exchange of information and experience without professional guidance as well as mutual emotional support. Members of self-help groups are experts in their own right and often have a high level of "lay competence". Learn more
