On Saturday, March 18, a patient day on naturopathic therapy options for people with cancer will be held at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg

The diagnosis of cancer poses existential questions and challenges for those affected and their relatives. In discussions with therapists and physicians, the question is often raised as to what extent naturopathy can help with the treatment of cancer or its side effects. On Saturday, March 18 , 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., a patient day entitled "Naturopathy in Tumor Diseases" will take place in the lecture hall of the University Women's Hospital (Hugstetter Straße 55, Freiburg).

Experts from the University Center for Naturopathy at the Institute for Environmental Medicine and Hospital Hygiene at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF at the Medical Center of Freiburg and other physicians from Freiburg and Switzerland will inform interested visitors about current developments in naturopathic therapy options in oncology.

The various presentations will include "Promising plant substances in the treatment of cancer patients", "Diet for tumor patients - what's new", "Vitamins, trace elements, enzymes for cancer?" and "Mistletoe therapy for cancer - what can it achieve?".

The experts will be available to answer questions after the presentations. In addition to the lectures, visitors will find information stands with further tips and advice in the library of the University Women's Hospital.
