Public information event of the Breast Center at the University Medical Center Freiburg
The diagnosis of breast cancer and any necessary breast reconstruction as part of the treatment are drastic experiences for those affected. As members of the Breast Center at the Tumor Center Freiburg - CCCF of the University Medical Center Freiburg, the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery and the Department of Gynecology at the University Medical Center Freiburg invite you to an information event on the occasion of the International Breast Reconstruction Day (BRA-Day).
Information event
on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 5 p.m.
in the large lecture hall of the Department of Surgery,
Hugstetter Str. 55, Freiburg.
The event is aimed at patients, colleagues in private practice and interested parties. Participation is free of charge, advance registration is not necessary.
Private lecturer Dr. Thalia Erbes, Department of Gynaecology at the Freiburg University Medical Centre, and Dr. Ziad Kalash, Head of the Breast Plastic Surgery Section at the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Freiburg University Medical Centre, will provide information on "Possibilities and limits of breast-conserving therapy for breast cancer" and on "Plastic surgery options for breast reconstruction after breast cancer". Afterwards there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
