The Quality department at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg serves to strengthen and continuously develop a high quality of treatment for our patients.

Taking into account the sometimes very complex diagnostic and treatment processes of a maximum care hospital, all associated processes are regularly analyzed and evaluated in order to identify opportunities for improvement and to incorporate the latest advances in medicine into the processes. The mission statement of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg forms the basis of our actions.

Feedback from our patients is very important to us and is continuously evaluated in order to achieve further improvements in treatment quality and safety as well as patient comfort.

Due to its importance for patient treatment, the "Quality" department at our university hospital is a staff unit that reports directly to the Board of Directors.
