Services of remembrance
The Catholic and Protestant chaplaincies at the University Medical Center Freiburg are organizing two ecumenical services on 14 and 16 November / Parents, siblings and relatives of miscarried and deceased children are invited to attend
Funeral service on November 14:
On Thursday, November 14, an ecumenical funeral service for miscarried children will take place at 3 p.m. at the main cemetery in Freiburg, Friedhofstraße 8. It will begin in the blessing hall, followed by a visit to the children's burial ground. All affected parents, siblings and relatives are cordially invited to say goodbye to the so-called "star children" once again.
Memorial service on November 16:
On Saturday, November 16, the annual memorial service for deceased children will take place at 3 p.m. in the Ecumenical Church Center in Freiburg-Rieselfeld, Maria-von-Rudloff-Platz. After a joint start, there will be a special offer for siblings parallel to the service. Afterwards, they are invited to drink coffee and eat cake together.
