Patient forum on chronic pain at Freiburg University Medical Center / Lectures and workshops for patients and their relatives

As part of the 18th Pain Therapists Meeting 2019, the Interdisciplinary Pain Center of the University Medical Center Freiburg invites patients and interested parties to a
patient forum "Chronic Pain"

on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 2 p.m.
in the building of the Department of Tumor Biology
of the University Medical Center Freiburg,
Breisacher Str. 117 in Freiburg.

Speakers from the self-help groups SchmerzLOS e.V. SHG Karlsruhe and the Bundesverband Clusterkopfschmerz, together with doctors and psychologists from the University Medical Center Freiburg, will present various perspectives on the topic of "Multimodal Pain Therapy".

Ute Warnken, patient self-help group SchmerzLoS e.V. SHG Karlsruhe , andDr. Birgit Abberger, psychologist at the Interdisciplinary Pain Center of the University Medical Center Freiburg, will talk about the topics "We are more than a circle of chairs" and "Multimodal pain therapy" in conference room E079/1 in the Tumor Biology Clinic at 2 p.m. There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentations.

Also at 2 p.m. , the Cluster Headache Patient Day of the German Cluster Headache Self-Help Group (CSG) will take place in conference room E079 under the direction of Ilkay Coban. The head of the Cluster Headache Specialist Clinic at the Pain Center will also be giving a short presentation.
