On Saturday, March 22, the Tumor Center Freiburg - CCCF, the Interdisciplinary Pain Center (ISZ) and the Clinic for Oncological Rehabilitation of the University Medical Center Freiburg invite you to an open day

There are often many questions and concerns about cancer and pain. How does cancer actually develop? How do sport and exercise help with oncological rehabilitation and chronic or tumor-associated pain? For example, what is the best treatment for patients with multiple myeloma? Interested parties can find answers to these and many other questions on Saturday, March 22 from 9 am to 12 noon at the joint open day of the Clinic for Oncological Rehabilitation, the Interdisciplinary Pain Center and the Tumor Center Freiburg - CCCF of the Freiburg University Medical Center in the building of the Clinic for Tumor Biology (Breisacher Straße 117 in Freiburg).

At the open day, visitors will be able to find out about the various presentations and ask their questions to the experts. There will also be further insights into current research on immunotherapies in acute tumor care. Proven methods of bodywork and therapy will be presented in 25-minute taster courses. These include fall prevention, breathing techniques, eutony and electrical nerve stimulation (TENS). Guided tours of the premises are also offered. Various self-help groups, the Patient Advisory Board at the Tumor Center Freiburg - CCCF and the Fördergesellschaft Forschung Tumorbiologie e.V. will also be on site to provide information about their work.
