Church services and spaces for silence and prayer
The Protestant Emmaus Chapel and the Catholic Heilig Geist Church are available for services, prayer and silence in the Central Hospital. There is also a chapel in the Tumor Biology Clinic and a chapel in the Department of Mental Illness. There is a Room of Silence in the Neurocenter and in the Women's Clinic.

The Protestant Emmaus Chapel with its colorful windows is a very special place of silence in the hospital, which is open around the clock.
It is located on the main floor between the Surgical and Medical Clinic. The entrance is above the v. Czerny ward. The way to the chapel is signposted.
Hymn books and Bibles in various languages are available in the Emmaus Chapel; it is also possible to enter your own thoughts in a prayer book.

We would like to draw your attention to the church service, which is broadcast on television every Sunday (ZDF: 9.30 am).

Entrances to the Heilig-Geist-Kirche are located both on the first floor and on the main floor between the Surgical and Medical Clinic. The way is signposted.
You can light a candle and sign the intercession book.
Catholic services in the Church of the Holy Spirit
(Broadcast on TV channel 48 and radio channel 25)

The chapel in the Tumor Biology Clinic invites you to silence and prayer and is open day and night. You also have the opportunity to sign a prayer book.
The chapel is located in the basement of the Tumor Biology Clinic.

The chapel in the Department of Mental Illness invites you to silence and prayer and is open around the clock.
It is located in the external clinics, next to the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, Hauptstraße 5.

Church service every Wednesday at 7 pm (Protestant - Catholic alternately).

Evening prayers with songs from Taizé are offered again at irregular intervals - please note the current notices.

This room is located on the top floor of the women's clinic and is easily accessible via the elevator at the main entrance.
It is always open and can be used by patients and staff at any time as a place of personal retreat.

The Neurocenter has a room of silence that is open to anyone who wants to find peace and quiet and withdraw for a while. It is also a space for mourning and finding comfort, for reflection, for gaining strength and for prayer. There is a book in which you have the opportunity to write down your thoughts and wishes.
The Room of Silence is open from 8.00-20.00 hrs.
You will find it on the first floor. It is on the left-hand side after the kiosk.
