Smoking and health do not go together. Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings of the Freiburg University Medical Center. If you still cannot do without a cigarette, we ask you to smoke only in the designated smoking areas.

The use of cannabis is strictly prohibited on the entire hospital grounds, including the smoking areas. Exceptions are only permitted for therapeutic, medical purposes if expressly prescribed by a doctor. Anyone who consumes cannabis must be able to provide proof of the prescription.

We ask you not to smoke in secret. By doing so, you are harming your fellow human beings and risking a fire.
