Optional accommodation at the University Medical Center Freiburg

Our aim is to make your stay in our clinic as pleasant as possible so that you can recover quickly in a pleasant environment. As a patient with optional services, you not only benefit from our first-class medical and nursing care, but also from comfortable accommodation with many additional services.

When you are admitted as an inpatient, you can opt for the "single" or "twin" room. We charge the following fees for this:

The prices listed apply per day of treatment. Details can be found in the optional services agreement.

Optional menus and additional meals

As an optional service patient, you have the option of choosing your own meals from our extensive menu or enjoying our specially arranged optional service menus. We also offer you a selection of refreshments and snacks. If you have any additional requests or cannot find what you are looking for on our menu, please do not hesitate to contact our service staff.

You can also enter your menu preferences digitally via the infotainment terminal at your bedside.

Our optional rooms generally offer you the following amenities:

- Personal safe: Keep your valuables safe.
- Refrigerator: Keep your drinks and snacks fresh and to hand at all times.
- Infotainment terminal by the bed: Enjoy our digital entertainment offer.
- A modern flat-screen TV is also available in the single room.

TELEVISION AND RADIO
In addition to numerous TV and radio stations, you also have 6 Sky channels at your disposal.

TELEPHONE
Stay in touch with your relatives and friends. A telephone flat rate to landlines and mobile networks (DE, EU, CH) is included with optional accommodation.

DIGITAL NEWSPAPERS AND MORE
Start the day well informed: every day you will receive the latest online edition of the Badische Zeitung on your infotainment terminal. You can also access numerous magazines via the "Sharemagazines" app. We also offer audio books and eBooks.

Laundry service

CHANGE OF HAND AND BATH TOWELS
We are happy to change your hand and bath towels regularly. If you would like a fresh towel, please place the used one on the floor. If you wish to use your towel again, please hang it up again.

CHANGE OF BED LINEN
You have the option of having your bed linen changed regularly if you wish.

PERSONAL LAUNDRY
During your stay, we will wash your personal laundry on request. This service is of course also free of charge for you. Your laundry will be returned within 36 hours.
