Michaela Höhlein-Dolde 's exhibition will open on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the University Heart Center Freiburg ∙ Bad Krozingen (Südring 15, Bad Krozingen, attic floor). On display are prints, paper and woodcuts that explore the interaction of surface and line. Christiane Grathwol-Scheffel will provide introductory remarks.
Michaela Höhlein-Dolde lives and works in Merdingen. In her artistic work, she explores the effect of color and its possible combinations as well as the play with the empty surface, which she occupies with her shapes.
Under the motto "Self / Cut", she is showing three groups of works: On the one hand, works that were created using the letterpress process and revolve around the theme of her own person, integrated into the surrounding space, the relationship to the environment and her own artistic work. The second is a group of works based on found photographs. The third group of works combines paper cuts and woodcuts.
The exhibition can be viewed from Monday, July 9, 2018, to Friday, September 7, 2018, on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm at the University Heart Center in Bad Krozingen (attic floor). Glass objects by Elisabeth Thomas are on display in the showcases in the entrance hall.
