Charity concert in aid of Tigerherz
"Paradise & Friends" will be playing on 17 and 18 January 2020 for the benefit of "Tigerherz... wenn Eltern Krebs haben", an offer from the Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Service at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF of the Medical Center - U
"Paradise & Friends" will play on Friday, January 17, 2020 and Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Kultur und Bürgerhaus Denzligen (Stuttgarter Straße 30, 79211 Denzlingen) for the benefit of "Tigerherz... wenn Eltern Krebs haben", an offer of the Psychosocial Cancer Counseling at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. Admission for both concerts begins at 7 pm, the music starts at 8 pm. Tickets cost 20 euros and can be purchased online at www.paradise-band.de/tickets or at Schreibwaren Markstahler in Denzlingen.
The band "Paradise" is a six-piece live band that has been known in southern Germany for over 30 years for its high-quality covers of pop, rock and soul classics. A powerful, compact sound is created by the line-up of bass, guitar, keyboards, drums and vocals. Slapstick numbers and parodies also find their way into the program. Several of the band's "friends" take part in the benefit concerts. The ensemble is expanded with strings, wind instruments, a choir and several soloists. In total, up to 20 musicians will perform together on stage.
The "Tigerheart... when parents have cancer" program is aimed at families in which one parent has cancer. The aim is to help the whole family by addressing the needs of the children in this difficult situation. The children and young people are worked with individually or in groups, often creatively with different materials. Space is provided for feelings and fears are addressed, as well as fun and laughter. The Tigerherz counseling service is aimed at parents, grandparents, teachers, educators, specialist staff and interested people. All services are free of charge and are financed exclusively by donations.
