Change to the emergency service plan
Dental weekend and holiday emergency service at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg to be discontinued at the end of the year
For organizational reasons, the Center for Dental Medicine at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will no longer offer a weekend and public holiday emergency service for patients with dental pain from 1 January 2021. Dental care is guaranteed on these days via the regular emergency service plan of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists, which is also responsible for patient care.
An emergency on-call service is provided by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists around the clock on days when there are no consultation hours. Information about the practices in the respective district can be found on the relevant date either in the newspaper, the automatic telephone announcement of the family dentist or the area search on the website of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists.
