The entrance on Killianstrasse opens for patients on December 21

From Monday, December 21, 2020, patients will once again be able to enter the Departments of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Ear, Nose and Throat and Pneumology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg via the Killianstraße entrance.

After almost two years of renovation work, the entrance on Killianstrasse is now open again. The previous entrance on the park side of the building will be temporarily closed. A detour from the old to the new entrance is signposted. The new entrance can be reached from the Killianstraße streetcar stop via Killianstraße and the visitor parking lot.

This marks the final completion of the renovation of the Departments of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and Otorhinolaryngology. In the final construction phase, the central hall and the functional areas on the ground and main floors were completely renovated and restructured from 2015. Since then, the registration and outpatient clinics have been located on the first floor.
