Keeping outpatient appointments safely

Despite the current coronavirus situation, outpatient appointments at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg can continue to take place under safe conditions / FFP2 masks for visitors, patients and service providers

Outpatient consultation hours at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the University Heart Center Freiburg - Bad Krozingen will be maintained as far as possible even in the current situation. Thanks to comprehensive hygiene measures, patients who have already made an appointment can attend it without any worries. It is not necessary to confirm an appointment in advance.

If patients cancel or do not attend an outpatient appointment at short notice, this can have negative consequences: Even supposedly minor problems can lead to long-term health problems if left untreated. Postponing existing appointments not only has an impact on the patients concerned, but also on the entire outpatient clinic process. In order to make outpatient appointments even safer, it is sometimes necessary to change the appointment time. Affected patients will be informed of this in writing in advance.

In accordance with the current Corona State Ordinance and in order to further increase safety on site, patients, visitors and external service providers may only enter all buildings of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the University Heart Center Freiburg - Bad Krozingen wearing FFP2 masks. FFP2 masks brought along can continue to be worn; if required, FFP2 masks will be handed out at the clinic entrances.
