Questions about pregnancy, birth and parental leave
The Parents' School of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg offers a monthly online information evening for parents-to-be / Next date: February 9th
How does the birth take place in the hospital? What options are there for pain relief? Who will support me in the first few weeks after the birth? Expectant parents often have a lot of questions, especially when having their first child. In order to support them in the current situation, the Parents' School of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will be organizing online information events on the topics of birth, pregnancy and parental leave in the coming months. Participants will receive important information in a one-hour presentation and then have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to physicians and midwives from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The information evening for expectant parents will next take place on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm . The event is offered every second Tuesday of the month.
As an open video conference, the event is aimed at all interested parties and is free of charge. Pre-registration is not required. Registration for participation is possible under the respective event link. The Parents' School of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg supports parents before, during and after the birth. It offers a comprehensive counseling program and a variety of different courses and events on topics such as women's health, pregnancy, birth and the first time with a child. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, no public on-site events can take place at the moment.
